Before we list the features of our villa, we would like to share with you some of its history, as the two are directly linked.

Villa Cascinotto has a history dating back to 1623. It sits on 15000 sqm of private land on its own hillside overlooking the historical town of Costigliole d’Asti with an unbroken view of the Castello Costigliole, home of the Barbera grape. Entering through the elegant gates, guests are welcomed by the 300 year old olive tree centered in the courtyard. After settling in, the large infinity pool and terraces offer exceptional views of the surround vineyards, hazelnuts, and of course the panoramic view of the Alps and the sunsets.

Extensive renovations started in 2020 to bring the villa into the 21st century. However, renovations were made respecting the roots of this centuries-old building. We gave it new life without losing the elements that make it so unique. The works of local craftsmen and artisans have restored some beautiful architectural elements, such as the open fireplace, the gorgeous ceilings, the balcony and the basement.
